Job description

Day-to-Day:

• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards supporting IT Asset Management (ITAM) reporting for ~80,000 assets approaching end-of-life.

• Transform manual spreadsheet-based reports into automated, scalable Power BI solutions for monthly executive reporting.

• Validate, clean, and reconcile asset inventory data to ensure accuracy for compliance, audit, and lifecycle reporting.

• Collaborate with Tech Ops, App Dev, and ITAM Governance teams to understand data context and support remediation planning.

• Use advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, macros) to prepare and QA data before ingestion into Power BI.

• Identify inefficiencies in current reporting workflows and support process improvement, automation, and data-quality enhancements.

• Troubleshoot data issues, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure dashboards refresh reliably and accurately.

Must-haves:

• Power BI experience specific for Compliance or Inventory Reporting or similar

Ideal candidate will have Power BI experience for Vulnerability Management, Currency Upgrades, or ITAM

• Experience with Power BI dashboard

• Expert excel pivot tables, V-lookup, use macros, automating reports into Power BI
