The Role

We are currently hiring multiple Post-Harvest Technicians to join our Fredericton facility. Whether you’re experienced or just starting out, we provide hands-on training, a clean and professional working environment, and opportunities to grow with us.

As a Post-Harvest Technician, you’ll be responsible for the hands-on care of cannabis plants after harvest, including trimming, de-leafing, weighing, and preparing product for drying and curing. You’ll work closely with our Post-Harvest Leads and follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure quality, compliance, and efficiency at every step.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow all SOPs, quality standards, and company protocols during harvest and trimming.
  • Execute trimming and de-leafing of cannabis plants with attention to speed, cleanliness, and visual appeal.
  • Accurately weigh, record, and label all plant material.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment and sanitize tools between tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with team leads to meet daily production targets.
  • Contribute to quality control by identifying inconsistencies or contaminants during processing.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the Post-Harvest Leads or supervisors.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail and good observational skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Good reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills (for weighing and measuring).
  • Reliable, punctual, and flexible—especially during peak harvest periods.
  • Previous experience in cannabis trimming or post-harvest processing is a plus, but not required.
Work Environment & Conditions
  • Schedule: Full-time preferred; part-time will be considered. Overtime required during peak times.
  • Physical Demands: Light lifting (5–10 kg), prolonged standing, bending, and repetitive hand motions.
  • Training: Provided on-site; no prior cannabis experience necessary.
  • PPE Required: All tools and protective gear supplied.
  • Safety First: Compliance with all health and safety protocols is mandatory.
