Job description

We are partnering with a leading Canadian Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance provider to ensure the successful transfer of policy data for up to 12‑month contract.

Location & Work Model

Location: Waterloo (Westmount Rd S)

Work Model: Hybrid. You will be required to be onsite for up to 3 days per week. A higher onsite presence (closer to 3 days) will be required initially for the 6‑7 weeks of training and critical ramp‑up support. This may reduce as individual performance improves.

Contract Details & Compensation

Target Start Date: February 9, 2026.

Up to 12‑month contract.

Compensation: $25.64 /hour.

This is an actively recruiting position with existing vacancy available.

Schedule

Hours: 7.25 hours per day, 36.25 hours per week (includes standard lunch and breaks).

Shifts: Rotational shifts between 7:30 AM and 6:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

This role is highly focused on meticulous data entry and processing within the insurance operations environment.

  • Policy and Data Migration: Execute manual data entry and processing tasks to migrate P&C insurance policy information from one system to another.
  • Data Verification & Analysis: Ensure complete data accuracy during conversion, identifying discrepancies, and applying individual judgment and decision‑making to resolve scenario‑based processing issues.
  • Outbound Follow‑up: Conduct necessary outbound calls and email correspondence with brokers for clarification or missing information related to policy conversion files. (Note: There are no inbound customer service calls).
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain strict adherence to governance and regulatory requirements, prioritizing the quality of work to ensure no mistakes in the conversion process.

Qualifications
  • Transferable Experience: Demonstrable experience in a role requiring high‑volume, complex data processing, or meticulous administrative work where quality and regulatory compliance were paramount (e.g., policy administrator, processing specialist).
  • Core Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, quality‑focused work ethic, strong technical aptitude, and efficient time management.
  • Communication: Professional, clear, and effective communication skills for professional interaction with brokers via phone and email.
Work Environment & Performance
  • Pace of Work: Fast‑paced, high‑volume production environment.
  • Training: Comprehensive 6‑7 weeks of training will be provided, including e‑learning, job shadowing, and practice time, with ongoing support from the Team Lead.
  • Performance Measurement: Measured against key performance indicators (KPIs) focused on Quality of Work (governance and regulatory adherence, minimal errors) and Case Volume (productions completed).
