Overview

The Plant Manager manages a designated facility, ensuring that all business operations are productive, efficient, safe, and meet internal and external customer expectations.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions :

  • Change agent responsible for leading ISCO operations in Edmonton, AB
  • Maintain operations team & plant infrastructure to meet a Monday- Friday 8AM - 5PM operation. Additional work hours as needed.
  • Directly manage multi-department plant with 7+ employees in Maintenance (Mechanics), Distribution, and Fabrication areas with growth capabilities.
  • Provide hands on support to team members and all facility needs; Leading from the front.
  • Manage plant expenses.
  • Drive culture to ensure a safe and efficient operation.
  • Oversee and monitor Safety programs and initiatives to ensure team member and company compliance with applicable laws and standards.
  • Follow and Promote ISCO\'s Quality Management System.
  • Support high employee engagement.
  • Drive operational reports and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Improve operational processes, develop and challenge team members.
  • Foster a culture of continuous development while building future leaders.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business, management, engineering or closely related field desired.
  • 5 years\' experience leading and managing a manufacturing / warehouse / distribution environment, including a leadership role.
  • Proficient knowledge and business use of Microsoft Office products.
  • 5 years\' experience with hands-on and technical knowledge in the ability to troubleshoot and repair; small diesel / gas engines, centrifugal pumps, generators, electrical circuits and hydraulic / pneumatic systems
