Plant Manager – Manufacturing Cambridge, ON | Full-Time | Senior Leadership Opportunity

Are you an experienced manufacturing leader who thrives in a fast-paced, custom fabrication environment? We’re looking for a Plant Manager to oversee our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, leading a team of 100+ employees across CNC, fabrication, graphics, paint, ACM, assembly, crating, and maintenance operations.

About the Role

As our Plant Manager, you’ll take full ownership of production performance, quality standards, and workplace safety across multiple shifts. You’ll drive efficiency, mentor and develop your teams, and ensure that every product leaving our facility exceeds client expectations.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead & Inspire: Oversee daily production across multiple departments and shifts.
  • Boost Efficiency: Streamline processes, reduce waste, and deliver top-quality results.
  • Champion Safety: Foster a culture of zero harm and regulatory compliance.
  • Drive Innovation: Implement Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Deliver Results: Meet production targets while maintaining budgets and resource efficiency.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with engineering, procurement, and senior leadership to align operations with business goals.
What We’re Looking For
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years in manufacturing management (3+ in a senior leadership role).
  • Strong background in custom fabrication or sign manufacturing.
  • Expertise in CNC equipment, welding, sheet metal fabrication, and assembly operations.
  • Proven record of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement success.
  • ERP/MRP systems experience (Epicor preferred).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
