Planning Solicitor

Peterborough is undergoing major regeneration, with projects that will reshape the city’s infrastructure and growth for decades to come. As a Planning and Highways Lawyer, you’ll play a central role in making that happen, providing expert legal advice on developments that range from city-centre regeneration to large-scale transport schemes.

Whether it’s negotiating Section 106 agreements, guiding planning committees, or advising on highways law, your expertise will help ensure that development is both ambitious and legally robust.

What You’ll Do
  • Draft and negotiate Section 106 agreements and complex planning obligations
  • Advise on major development proposals, regeneration projects, and transport infrastructure
  • Represent Legal Services at Planning Committee with clear, confident advice
  • Support planning appeals, enforcement cases, and judicial reviews
  • Provide highways law advice, including agreements and adoption processes
  • Work closely with planners, engineers, developers, and senior stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or CILEx Fellow
  • Strong planning law experience, ideally including development agreements
