Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 ans d'expérience, dont 2 ans dans l'industrie lourde ou chimique.
  • Licence de système de brûleur à gaz naturel (un atout) requise.

Responsibilities

  • Installer, réparer et remplacer des équipements de distribution et systèmes d'échange thermique.
  • Fabrication de tuyauterie en métal, plastique, et matériaux variés.
  • Diagnostiquer des problèmes dans les systèmes de chauffage.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and replace in-plant adduction equipment and heat exchange systems including steam bundles, unit heaters, shell-and-tube exchangers, spirals, etc.;
  • Fabricate new metal, plastic, fiberglass, polymer, and steel-polymer lined piping;
  • Diagnose problems in heating systems by manipulating valves and instruments related to pipelines;
  • Read plans and specifications to determine material lengths/quantities required;
  • Comply with company health and safety standards, including wearing appropriate protective equipment (clothing and respiratory).
Education, experience, and competencies
  • High school diploma or equivalent and a DEP in Plumbing and Heating;
  • Plumber qualification certificate (construction or non-construction);
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience (2 years in heavy or chemical industry, an asset);
  • Natural gas burner system license (an asset);
  • Ability to produce high-quality work;
  • Show initiative;
  • Support colleagues;
  • Perform physical or mechanical tasks.
