A leading home care provider in Canada is seeking a Physiotherapist responsible for assessing clients and creating treatment plans for a variety of needs. This part-time role involves working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality care. Ideal candidates will hold a relevant degree and be registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. The position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for professional development within a caring community.
As a Physiotherapist, you are responsible for the assessment of neuromuscular, musculoskeletal and cardiorespiratory systems and the treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of an injury or pain. The goal is to develop, maintain, rehabilitate, or augment function and promote mobility. Care will take place within a residential or institutional setting with referrals generated by a variety of sources. Client groups receiving treatment may include pediatrics for in home or school services and/or adults with medical/health concerns.
