Position Summary :

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Physician Assistant to join our clinical team. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of licensed physicians, providing direct patient care, supporting diagnostic and treatment services, and promoting overall wellness.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct patient interviews, take medical histories, and perform physical examinations

Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results

Assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans

Prescribe medications within scope of practice and under physician supervision

Provide health education, counseling, and preventive care guidance to patients

Document clinical encounters thoroughly and accurately in the EMR system

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, holistic care

Support physicians in procedures and follow-up care

Qualifications :

Graduate of a recognized Physician Assistant education program

Certified or eligible for certification with the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants (CAPA)

Licensed or eligible for licensure with the Saskatchewan College of Physicians and Surgeons

Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred, but new graduates may also be considered
