Part-Time Pharmacist - Airport Village Pharmasave (Kelowna, BC)

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients in a courteous, professional manner
• Counsel on prescriptions, OTC products, and general health concerns (indications, contraindications, adverse effects, drug interactions, dosage)
• Provide injection services and ensure all privacy / consent requirements are met
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to deliver optimal care
• Maintain required records (customer, narcotic, and controlled substances) in compliance with legislation and standards of practice
• Supervise and support pharmacy assistants, fostering teamwork and excellence
• Manage dispensary inventory and patient confidentiality

Qualifications

• BSc in Pharmacy or PharmD degree
• Licensed / Registered Pharmacist in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of BC
• Injection certification with valid First-Aid / CPR
• Previous retail or community pharmacy experience (preferred)
• Familiarity with Kroll software (asset)
