Overview

Are you a data enthusiast with a passion for solving complex biological problems through computational approaches? We are currently looking for experienced Bioinformaticians to join our expanding team in Toronto! Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain bioinformatics pipelines for the analysis of omics datasets (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, etc.).
  • Process, analyze, and interpret high-throughput biological data.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including biologists, data scientists, and IT specialists.
  • Integrate diverse datasets to support biomarker discovery, target identification, and drug development.
  • Ensure quality control, reproducibility, and documentation of analyses.
  • Present complex data and insights in a clear and actionable format to scientific and non-scientific stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Master’s or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in bioinformatics within a pharmaceutical, biotech, or research setting.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Bash.
  • Familiarity with public biological databases (e.g., NCBI, Ensembl) and tools (e.g., Bioconductor, Galaxy).
  • Strong understanding of molecular biology, statistics, and data visualization.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary team.
