Overview

Personal Support Worker – Nursing Care

Location: 325 Fiddlers Green Rd, Ancaster, ON L9G 1W9

Salary: $22.00 HOURLY, 30 to 44 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time

Hours: Day, Evening, Weekend

Starts as soon as possible

On site work at a retirement home setting.

Responsibilities
  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities
  • Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort
  • Perform other duties related to personal care
  • Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse
  • Serve meal trays and feed patients
  • Weigh, lift, turn and position patients
  • Make beds and maintain patients' rooms
  • Bathe, dress and groom patients
  • Answer call signals to determine patients' needs
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations
Education

College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
