A not-for-profit social enterprise is seeking Part Time Evening Personal Support Workers (PSW) for Community Care in Niagara Falls. Qualifications

  • A valid driver's license and vehicle are required for daily use.
  • Must meet immunization requirements including MMR, Varicella, TB, Tetanus, and Covid.
  • Must have a current vulnerable sector check (VSC).
  • Must have a current Standard CPR level C certificate.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal support care to clients in their homes.
  • Assist with daily living activities including mobility and personal hygiene.

Qualifications accepted to work as a PSW
  • Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
  • RN or RPN
  • Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)

Requirements
  • A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required
  • Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB, Tetanus and Covid
  • Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
  • Current Standard CPR level C certificate
  • Availability to work days OR eveningsand every other weekend
  • This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm, and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
