Job summary

A community-based insurance brokerage in Saskatoon is seeking a Personal Lines Broker to manage and grow a book of business. In this role, you will provide excellent customer service, assess insurance needs, negotiate coverage levels, and ensure optimal outcomes for clients. Ideal candidates bring a Level 1 general license and a minimum of 3 years’ experience.

Overview

Our client is a community-based insurance brokerage located in Saskatoon, with a history of more than five decades, dedicated to offering creative and tailor-made insurance solutions for customers. They are in search of a Personal Lines Broker to become a part of their expanding team, contributing to safeguarding the assets of local community.

This Personal Lines Broker will manage and grow a book of business, provide excellent customer service with insurance products and policies, assessing and evaluating risks, determining coverage levels, and negotiating with brokers to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assist walk-in clients and discuss their insurance needs
  • Answer phone calls from clients when available
  • Provide quotes and bind new insurance policies in Personal Lines
  • Identify and sell additional coverages for existing clients
  • Complete policy reviews and renewals
Qualifications
  • Level 1 general license, Level 2 is an asset
  • Minimum 3years’ experience in Personal Lines insurance
  • Experienced in providing customer service with various situations
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Knowledge in BMS software
