You will join a high-performing team in ADP’s Human Resources Outsourcing department that provides support and guidance in response to a wide variety of payroll and tax-related questions and issues presented by Client Payroll Administrators.

What you’ll do : Responsibilities
  • Manage client payroll. You’ll be responsible and fully accountable for the payroll and audit functions of multiple clients. You will also oversee scheduling and running the assigned client payrolls by following standard operating procedures. You’ll balance respective payrolls based on the year-end calendar and remit all Third-Party Remittances by defined due dates, completing all Year End balancing, filing & reporting.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert. You’ll provide critical and accurate statutory information to clients in the payroll area, such as tax filing. Use knowledge bases, resource materials and appropriate websites to locate answers and solutions. You’ll utilize internal tools and defined processes to ensure productivity and service excellence and make recommendations for best practices to customers.
  • Problem-solver. You’ll work with internal technical support, various production departments and ADP Service hubs to identify resolutions. You’ll provide feedback and suggestions on products, issues, processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Develop knowledge. You’ll maintain National Payroll Institute (NPI) designation & attend required departmental training sessions and demonstrate proficiency in learning.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years Canadian payroll processing experience
  • Minimum 5 years client service experience
  • Advanced internet and MS Office Skills (Word / Excel) required
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions
  • Excellent client service skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education preferred, or equivalent experience in administration / client service / HR.
  • Candidate should be working towards or have National Payroll Institute (NPI) certification (PCP, CPM).
