A local school board in York Region seeks a Payroll Analyst. You will be responsible for payroll administration processes and ensuring compliance with various standards. The ideal candidate has an advanced college diploma, 3+ years of payroll analysis experience, and strong SAP knowledge. The role offers competitive compensation in a supportive educational environment.
Payroll Analyst — One (1) Permanent Full-Time Position (35 hpw) Exempt Level 6
Salary: $81,352 - $103,307 per annum
Under the direction of the Manager, Payroll and Benefits, the Payroll Analyst provides resource support to the Manager to improve administration processes, updates department policies and develops enhanced internal controls and procedures in compliance with the Ministry of Education, Regulatory and Governance Authorities, collective agreements, board policies, policies of insured Benefits providers, regulations of pension providers and Public Sector Accounting Board standards (PSAB) in addition to ensuring reconciliation between payroll and financial postings.
