A local government organization in Ontario seeks a full-time Patrol Road Worker 2 to operate heavy equipment and maintain roads. This role involves manual labor and the use of various equipment like graders and backhoes. Ideal candidates will hold a DZ license and have at least 2 years of construction or maintenance experience. The position offers competitive wages ranging from $27.38 to $35.89 per hour, depending on the season.

An individual that operates one or more pieces of heavy equipment (Grader, Backhoe, Loader, Boom Mower, etc..) to repair and maintain roads and drainage. Performs road and roadside maintenance and repair activities as well as yard, shop, and equipment maintenance. Uses power equipment and hand tools as required and includes manual labour for routine tasks such as tree cutting/removal, post installations, guide rail repairs, placing asphalt and granular materials.
