About You: We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Partner Account Manager with a strong background in the bank card payments industry to join Xsolla’s global Payments team. This role is ideal for someone who has direct experience working with card networks, issuing or acquiring banks, and is well-versed in the technical and regulatory aspects of the ecosystem, including PCI DSS, 3D Secure (3DS), tokenization, etc. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated professional with a strong understanding of bank card infrastructure, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex partner relationships. You should be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, global fintech environment and eager to contribute to a company at the forefront of payments innovation in the video game industry.

Responsibilities
  • Industry-Focused Partnership Management: Manage and grow relationships with card acquirers, processors, and financial institutions, ensuring alignment with our strategic payment goals.
  • Client-Facing Excellence: Lead client interactions,showcasing strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly across teams, including finance, legal, and product development, to support and manage partners' needs
  • Optimization Expertise: Enhance partner interaction processes, mitigate conflicts, and ensure the optimal fulfillment of financial obligations
  • Market Insight: Stay ahead by monitoring market trends and cultivating business relationships with existing partners
  • Innovative Partnerships: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within our current partner network
Requirements
  • Previous experience: Proven experience in managing partnerships with card acquirers, processors, or card scheme partners. Strong knowledge of bank card systems, including authorization flows, chargebacks, settlement, and reconciliation.
  • Understanding of PCI DSS, 3DS 1/2.0, tokenization, and payment security standards
  • Language Proficiency: Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency (oral and written) Communication Mastery: Demonstrate high-level business communication skills
  • Priority Setting: Clearly articulate tasks and set priorities effectively
  • Analytical Prowess: Exhibit advanced communicative, analytical, and proactive thinking skills
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities
  • Partnership Development: Show an aptitude for developing productive partnerships Autonomous

  • Technical Proficiency: Atlassian products such as Jira, Confluence, Atlas as well as Google Workspace
