Qualifications

• Must have an active license with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• College certificate is required, diploma preferred.
• Medication Certificate if graduated before 1985.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective patient care as part of an inter-professional team.
• Evaluate health status of patients with predictable outcomes.
• Establish priorities for preventive, therapeutic, and rehabilitative care.
• Advocate for patients and their caregivers.
• Modify care plans based on patient responses and report as necessary.

Active, unrestricted license to practice with the College of Nurses of Ontario

Current CPR certificate
