Job summary

A technology company in Toronto is seeking a part-time Payroll Contractor to optimize payroll operations for U.S. and Canada. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of payroll experience, especially in cross-border environments, and be proficient in Rippling or similar platforms. You'll ensure compliance and efficiency in payroll processes while collaborating with the People team. This contract role requires approximately 15–20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive payroll experience, including cross-border payroll.
• Demonstrated success in optimizing payroll processes and controls.
• Hands-on experience with payroll compliance regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for hourly and salaried employees in U.S. and Canada.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on ROEs and employment legislation.
• Oversee year-end filings and compliance processes.
