We are looking for our next great teammember to join us on our Front Desk team as a Night Auditor. We are committed to providing you with:

What you will be doing each day
  1. Prepare daily Restaurant Revenue Report data by auditing Point of Service tapes/journals to breakdown revenue, covers, waiters' fees, tips paid out and settlements by type and cashier.
  2. Run audit reports/journals from the front office system, Point of Service and the computer.
  3. Make corrections and adjustments and handle all computer problems that might occur throughout the shift.
  4. Input into the front office system revenue/expenses/allowances to generate the daily reports such as the Guest Ledger Summary and the Daily Restaurant Summary.
  5. Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files and reset the system for next day operations.
  6. Implement and continue support of company programs and supervise the daily operations of the Front Desk to comply with SOPS and LSOPs, brand standards compliance, maximize revenues, to ensure an optimal level of quality service and hospitality are provided to the hotel customers.
  7. Remain calm and alert, especially during emergency situations and/or heavy hotel activity, serving as a role model for clerks and other employees. Resolve customer complications and complaints by conducting thorough research of the situation and determining the most effective solutions. Make decisions and act based on previous experience and good judgment, sometimes revising approach to accommodate unusual situations. Authorize revenue allowances to remedy problems only after other alternative solutions have been offered.

Job Requirements
  • PMS experience an asset
  • Service oriented with an eye to supporting your internal guests
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hotel environment

  • Numerical acuity and high attention to detail
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial data, reporting, & basic arithmetic functions
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours per shift)
  • Professional presentation
  • Must be willing to work overnights, holidays and weekends
  • Able to perform other duties as required
