Otto's Cache Jasper AB Market Sales Clerk

Overview

Otto's Cache is Jasper's first locally owned café, bakery and curated provisions market. In Spring 2025, Otto's Cache will open its doors to Jasper National Park. The cafe/bakery focus will be on both dine-in and take-away offerings. Serving specialty coffee, fresh baked goods, sandwiches, salads. The market’s main focus will be providing our community with locally sourced, exciting artisanal provisions, making great food accessible to our community year round. All made possible by local Canadian suppliers.

Wage: $17-$18+ (Based on experience) + Gratuities

Hours: Full Time & Part Time

Location: Jasper, AB

We’re looking for foodies ready to share their ideas, visions and passions for everything food.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and determining their needs and preferences
• Product knowledge for optimal customer service
• Attention to detail
• Recommending products and services that match the customers' needs and budget
• Processing payments, issuing receipts, and handling returns and exchanges
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store and the merchandise
• Stocking shelves, replenishing inventory, and displaying products
• Following store policies and procedures, and complying with health and safety regulations
• Assisting the cafe in clearing tables and help take orders when needed, including pouring and serving of alcohol
• Receiving delivery orders

Requirements

• Good communication, interpersonal, and sales skills

• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items and stand for long periods
