A leading international development organization is seeking an Organizational Growth and Development Advisor for a volunteer placement in Tanzania. This position focuses on crafting innovative business models to enhance operational sustainability while advocating for human rights and gender equality. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, extensive experience in organizational and business development, and strong analytical and proposal writing skills. A comprehensive support package will be provided to ensure volunteer comfort during their placement.

The Organizational Growth and Development Advisor is responsible for driving strategic initiatives that bolster the operational sustainability and expansion of Envirocare Tanzania. In this key role, you will focus on identifying and cultivating innovative business models that are in line with the organization’s mission to advocate for environmental justice, human rights, and gender equity. This will require a comprehensive evaluation of the existing operational framework, allowing you to identify opportunities for enhancing financial sustainability and decreasing reliance on donor funding.
Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing a variety of funding streams, which could involve establishing a consulting division concentrating on services related to environmental issues, human rights, and gender consulting. This initiative is essential as it will generate additional revenue sources and elevate Envirocare's status as a recognized authority in these specialized domains. Your expertise will inform the organizational structure of this division, encompassing core services, pricing models, and target markets.
