Qualifications

  • 5-7 years progressive experience in apprenticeship administration or complex operational environments.
  • Experience teaching in an Apprenticeship Education Program, preferably at an Alberta post-secondary institution.
  • 2-3 years in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end apprenticeship operations including seat management and compliance.
  • Make informed decisions on resource allocation and portfolio challenges.
  • Lead the institutional forecasting process and optimize capacity.
  • Identify systemic challenges and collaborate on Continuous Improvement.
  • Guide schools in apprenticeship standards and compliance.
  • Steward the apprenticeship student journey and advocate for student needs.
  • Interpret operational data and monitor KPI dashboards.
  • Lead the rollout of new processes and ensure compliance.
