Our client, located in Guelph, is searching for an experienced Operations Manager to take on the role as the cornerstone of the management team.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and take overall responsibility for customer service, inside sales, purchasing, warehouse, and general operations teams.
  • Provide leadership to ensure on‑time delivery of goods and oversee inventory management.
  • Build vendor relationships and manage client interactions.
  • Engage in project work, such as new customer onboarding, and serve as a main point of contact with clients and suppliers.
  • Demonstrate a hands‑on approach in leadership.
Qualifications:
  • Post‑secondary education in a related field (e.g., Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 5–8 years of operations experience in a wholesale distribution environment.
  • Proven experience with purchasing, leading customer service, and fulfillment teams.
  • Strong knowledge of wholesale distribution processes.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, specifically P21 ideal.
  • Proven leader capable of managing diverse teams.
Work Arrangement:
  • 100% in‑office.
  • Very little travel, with occasional off‑site meetings.
