Overall Responsibility

The Operations Administrative Coordinator ensures that all administrative functions related to Red Door Family Shelter’s client services/shelter operation are carried out and maintained effectively and efficiently.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
  • Provide direct administrative support to the Director of Client Services
  • Support shelters operations through documentation management, client service coordination, and program administration
  • Assist in planning, coordination and execution of projects and operational initiatives
  • Implement and maintain systems and automation tools to improve service delivery and internal workflow
  • Maintain, update and analyze statistical tracking tools to support program monitoring and evaluation
  • Coordinate meetings, seminars, workshops, special projects and events as assigned
  • Conduct research and prepare reports, summaries and documentation as needed
  • Assist with managing in-kind donations including inventory tracking and distribution
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in office management/administrative processes.
  • Minimum of 2 – 3 years of experience preferably in non-profit organizations.
  • High level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications (WORD, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Good experience and knowledge of working on databases
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated successful experience working effectively on diverse teams.
  • Sound judgment with the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a level of attention to detail.
  • Superior coordination and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well independently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 35 lbs.

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Location: On – Site (21 Carlaw Ave.)

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week (with flexibility to work some evenings & weekends)

Salary: $58,054.73 – $63,437.97
