A leading engineering staffing firm in Ontario is seeking a Junior Technical Staff member to support performance improvement initiatives and coordinate investigations within their projects. The ideal candidate will have strong relationship-building skills, knowledge of engineering principles, and proficiency in MS Office and Power BI. This role is 100% onsite, offering an opportunity to contribute to impactful projects.

Work Mode: 100% onsite

Job Overview:

  • Support Performance Improvement functional areas, including reviewing Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), assisting in developing CAPs, including Vendor Corrective Action Process, and reviewing all Station Condition Records (SCRs).
  • Coordinate, perform, or lead self-assessments (SAs), validate trends (VOTs), and benchmarking.
  • Support data management, develop metrics, and PowerBI reports. Track and trend data to proactively identify gaps.
  • Lead investigations for adverse conditions within the Enterprise Projects organization.
  • Work with SCR, Corrective Action Process, Vendor Corrective Action Process, benchmarking, and self-assessments.
  • Collaborate with OPEX and lessons learned initiatives.
  • Work with Project Managers on Vendor Corrective Action Process and oversight.
  • Support Darlington & Pickering Refurbishment Projects and the Enterprise Project Management Organization.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in building effective relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and techniques.
  • Proficiency in developing executive-level presentation materials, summaries, project documentation, and reports.
  • Skilled in data collection and analysis using MS Office tools.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Additional skills include familiarity with MS Visio, MS Office, and Power BI reporting.
  • Project Management experience is an asset.
