Job summary

A Canadian University is seeking an experienced Online Course Developer for CRIM 350 – Justice and Indigenous Peoples. The successful candidate will develop an online course aimed at educating human service workers about aboriginal rights and issues. Applicants must have an M.A degree and proven experience in online course creation and teaching in policing. This is a term position with the course scheduled from May 2026 to April 2027.

Qualifications

  • Successful applicants must hold the minimum qualification of an M.A degree.
  • Proven ability in the teaching and creation of online courses is required.
  • Proven ability teaching courses in policing or professional policing experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an online version of the course CRIM 350 – Justice and Indigenous Peoples.
  • Help human service workers understand current issues including aboriginal rights and land claims.
  • Explore aboriginal history, colonization, and constitutional issues.
