A leading transportation company in Toronto is seeking an Onboarding Compliance Specialist to manage compliance for drivers and staff. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and French and has at least 3 years of experience, preferably in transportation. Responsibilities include maintaining compliance records, providing training, and assisting with on-site compliance activities. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Under moderate supervision, the Onboarding Compliance Specialist ensures that First Student drivers, monitors, technicians, and staff remain compliant with all applicable federal, provincial, and contractual regulations. This role supports onboarding processes, maintains accurate compliance records, and provides training and guidance to location staff to ensure smooth integration and adherence to standards.
Maintain and update compliance data for assigned locations. Review all documents for accuracy before entry into the compliance system and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with location staff.
Train location staff on compliance programs, processes, and document requirements. Provide troubleshooting assistance for compliance platform challenges and elevate issues to the Driver Compliance Supervisor when necessary.
Promote a safe and positive work environment while maintaining a high level of confidentiality. Communicate effectively and professionally with all stakeholders.
Assist with on-site compliance activities as assigned and provide hands‑on support during audits or peak periods.
Perform additional responsibilities as required to support compliance and onboarding objectives.
