Overview

Accurate Network Services Inc. is on the hunt for a confident and organized Office Administrator to join our team in our Calgary office. The person we envision for this role will offer a warm “front-of-house” presence, building genuine and friendly relationships with visiting clients and vendors, while also managing general behind-the-scenes office tasks to keep the place running smoothly. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career growth: as this is a new role at Accurate, the successful candidate will assist in establishing and building-out the responsibilities of the Office Administrator in Calgary, assist with Bookkeeping tasks (AR and AP) and will have ample opportunity to learn and grow in an Accounting direction.

Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of general administrative tasks around the office
  • Welcoming visitors and assisting/directing them according to their needs
  • Maintaining a professional and welcoming front-of-house
  • Keeping a pulse on office and kitchen supply inventory in Accurate’s Calgary office, ordering as needed
  • Opening and distributing incoming mail and email; communicating internally as required
  • Maintaining and organizing files SharePoint in collaboration with other departments
  • Working with landlords and vendors to maintain office spaces in Calgary
  • Establishing and overseeing other relevant office procedures as required
Additional Initiatives and Projects
  • Performing data entry on Projects as required
  • Assisting in Employee Onboardings
  • Supporting the Accurate team in making travel arrangements (e.g. hotel and flight bookings)
  • Assisting with Accounting duties as required (AR/AP)
Collaborate with your Team
  • Participate in Team Huddles, monthly Accountability Meetings, quarterly 1:1s, Bonus Planning, and Annual Career Planning sessions
The Qualifications

  • Confident in Microsoft 365 suite of applications (Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Teams)
  • Experience in the hospitality or service industries considered an asset
  • Experience with Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable processes is a must
  • Quickbooks Online experience considered a huge asset
  • Possesses a valid driver’s license
