Job Title: Nutrition Manager in Training – Full-time

We’re currently looking for a Nutrition Manager (In Training) to join our Cowichan Valley team. This is a unique opportunity for someone passionate about health, nutrition, and people to grow into a leadership role with a company that truly values its team and community.

In this role, you’ll support the daily operations of our Nutrition Department while serving as a trusted resource for supplement and nutrition guidance. You’ll work directly with the community, helping customers make informed choices and creating a supportive, wellness-focused environment.

Your training will begin at our Cobble Hill store, where you’ll work alongside an experienced Nutrition Manager to gain hands-on experience with our products, team, and customer base.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Nutrition Manager (in Training), you’ll work closely with a Nutrition Manager and store team members across our Cowichan Valley locations. You’ll build on your skills in leadership, wellness education, and customer service while preparing to take on a future leadership role.

About the role:

• You’ll serve as the store’s in-house nutrition and supplement expert and go-to wellness resource for customers
• You’ll explain complex nutritional information into an easy-to-understand advice
• You’ll provide one-on-one support to customers with dietary needs, food allergies, or wellness goals
• You’ll maintain well-stocked, organized, and inviting department displays
• You’ll learn ordering and inventory
• You’ll communicate to your team on performance, policies and pertinent issues
• You’ll maintain nutrition-forward product selections, including healthy snacks, supplements, and specialty items

About you:

• You have 2 years of progressive experience in supplements, nutrition, health and wellness. Retail experience is an asset.
• You are passionate for healthy living and quality customer service
• You know how to guide and inspire your team to be their best at work
• You have the ability to explain complex nutritional information in a friendly, relatable way
• You’re efficient, organized, and enjoy working through challenges
• You’re comfortable managing inventory, communicating with vendors, scheduling, and product ordering
• You’re physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing/walking for extended periods, and performing tasks that involve bending, reaching, and kneeling.

Pay for this job:

Starting Range: $25.75-$30.00

Most new team members start within this range, depending on their experience and skills.

Growth Range: Up to $35.00

There’s room to grow! Annual performance reviews provide opportunities to move up within this range over time.
