Bonuses:

Job Summary:

The Attending Nurse Practitioner (Attending NP) reports to the Patient Care Manager and Medical Director. Responsibilities include developing patient care plans, providing leadership and mentorship, and leading research and education initiatives to improve outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse in the Extended Class.
  • Preferred ACLS, NRP, PALS certifications.

Job Duties:

  • Maintain confidentiality and act ethically.
  • Participate as a primary care team member.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development.
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to staff.
  • Maintain liability and CPR certification.
  • Provide comprehensive primary care and collaborate with the healthcare team.
  • Refer patients to specialists and conduct health assessments.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Manage health conditions within NP scope.
  • Document clinical data accurately.
  • Engage patients in their care and provide health education.
