Job summary

A regional healthcare organization is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse in Central Butte, Saskatchewan. This full-time temporary role involves providing comprehensive care, ordering diagnostic tests, and prescribing treatments. The ideal candidate will have a Master of Nursing in Nurse Practitioner and possess strong communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills. Applicants must be registered or eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan and may be eligible for incentives. Salary ranges from $52.590 to $62.910 per hour.

Job Description

Advanced practice nurse with knowledge and skills gained through additional education and experience. Nurse blends an in-depth knowledge of nursing with the legal authority and autonomy to order diagnostic tests, prescribe pharmaceuticals and perform specific procedures in the management and treatment of common acute illnesses and stable chronic conditions patients. Position practices within a framework of evidence-based primary care, holism, health promotion, and disease and injury prevention. Practice involves building partnerships with individuals, families, and communities. This includes community needs assessments; supporting inter-professional collaboration and participating in continuous improvements through evaluative processes/projects. provides clinical assessment and treatment strategies that reflect in-depth knowledge of the care populations.
