Qualifications

  • Up to date knowledge of electronic materials, principles, circuit construction and quality control procedures.
  • Good working knowledge of recognized industry workmanship standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assembles, tests, inspects, troubleshoots and repairs a wide range of electronics or electro-mechanical parts.
  • Applies knowledge for timely testing and troubleshooting on products.
  • Compiles and analyses records, statistics and formulates basic reports as required.

Skills

Soldering skills compliant with recognized industry workmanship standards
Excellent problem-solving skills
Good understanding of lean manufacturing principles
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Proficient in the use of basic software applications
Proven mechanical aptitude

Education

Grade 12 with recognized community college technician/technologist qualification

Tools

Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Visio
