This role is perfect for someone who is patient, attentive, energetic, and committed to fostering a safe and supportive atmosphere for children.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
  • Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
  • Provide caregiving support, including assistance with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, diaper changes, and hygiene.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, ensuring dietary needs are met.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up play areas and kitchen.
  • Educate children through interactive play, storytelling, and educational games.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding children’s progress and any concerns that may arise.
  • School pick up (within walking distance from home).
  • Alignment with parents on parenting philosophy and approach to discipline.
  • Follow parents’ lead with toilet training.
  • Shop for food and household supplies.
  • Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
  • Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens.
  • Care for pets.
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  • Prepare infants and children for rest periods.
  • Tend to emotional well‑being of children.
  • Help children with homework.
