  • Building and managing relationships with referral sources to generate new mortgage business.
  • Identifying sales opportunities and referring them to BMO colleagues.
  • Developing marketing and sales programs to drive results.
  • Supporting community presence through events and partnerships.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and guiding customers through mortgage processes.
  • Partnering with branch teams for customer handoffs and documentation.
  • Resolving customer issues and ensuring timely funds transfer.
  • Promoting banking products and services to customers and referring to appropriate partners.
  • Staying updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
  • Analyzing data to provide insights and reporting.
  • Completing operational tasks and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications:

  • Typically 3-5 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree or equivalent.
  • Deep understanding of mortgage lending and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal, sales, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of personal banking, investments, and real estate markets.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems independently.
