A leading energy company in Canada seeks a Mooring Master to oversee safe berthing and unberthing operations for Crude Oil and LNG tankers. Ideal candidates will possess a valid Canadian Master Mariner or similar certification, along with at least 2 years of experience in senior deck positions. Responsibilities include ensuring vessel movements align with best practices and maintaining terminal safety standards. As a Mooring Master, you will work closely with Operations and Ship Masters to perform safe and efficient berthing and unberthing activities while overseeing discharge operations on both Crude Oil Tankers and LNG tankers. Your goal will be to ensure that all vessel movements and cargo discharge operations are completed safely, smoothly, and in full alignment with company procedures and industry best practices. Your success will come from effectively coordinating with ship personnel, maintaining strong situational awareness during terminal operations, and consistently demonstrating sound judgment and technical expertise throughout all berthing, unberthing, and discharge activities.
