Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree in Mine Engineering or a related field required.
  • Registration as an Engineer in Training in Ontario (PEO) is necessary.
  • Previous experience in open-pit mining is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Develop mine plans and designs consistent with industry best practices.
  • Coordinate survey pick-ups and mark-ups with surveyors and technicians.
  • Monitor and report on completion of mining activities.
