Qualifications

• 5 years experience in a mining environment with crushing, grinding, flotation and dewatering.
• 3 years previous supervisory experience.
• Knowledge or experience with SAG milling would be desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the operation of the day-to-day milling process.
• Coordinate and control the milling operations efficiently.
• Motivate and manage crews in proper operating practices.

Skills

Experience in a mining environment

Supervisory experience

Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel)

Knowledge of SAG milling

Familiarity with Distributed Control System (DCS)

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
