Local Line is the leading farm-to-fork platform for restaurants, grocery stores, and distributors across North America. Our platform acts as a local food sourcing network, enabling wholesale food buyers to discover and buy from thousands of family farms. We believe we can create a better food system by shortening our global food supply chain and empowering family farms to become more successful and remain independent.

We’re a customer obsessed team of ~25 and growing quickly. We have a clear vision for the future and a roadmap to execute on, and we’re looking for teammates who want to improve our food system by helping retailers buy direct from farms.

About the team

The Sales team at Local Line is composed of two teams: (a) The Buyers Team and (b) The Farm Team. The Buyers Team sells the Local Line Sourcing Platform to all kinds of restaurants, grocery stores, distributors, hotels, schools, campuses, and more. The Farm Team sells the Local Line E-commerce Platform to farms and food hubs. As a Mid Market Account Executive, you’ll be working on the Buyers Team, selling to buyers with 25-1,000 locations with annual contract values of $50,000 - $500,000. You’ll work closely with the Marketing Team to generate qualified leads, as well as with the Onboarding Team to ensure Buyers launch successfully.

What you’ll do

● Manage multi-level sales processes, engaging with multiple stakeholders.

● Oversee a pipeline of inbound leads, supporting them from first hello to launched customer.

● Generate your own pipeline by contacting high quality prospects.

● Maintain the Local Line CRM and ensure your deals are up to date with accurate information.

● Occasionally travel to meet customers in person.

● Work closely with the Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to share customer feedback and align priorities.

Who you are

● 2+ years of experience selling a technology solution to the hospitality or retail industries.

● Proven ability to meet and exceed quota.

● Desire to face challenges head on, using a combination of creativity and energy to help our customers.

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

● Excellent time management and social skills.

● Keen attention to detail with an ability to successfully manage multi-stakeholder sales.

● High energy with a desire to move quickly and make an impact.

● Experience in the food or agriculture industry is a plus.
