Your Tasks:
- Develop and maintain clean, high-performance, and scalable code using PHP and the Symfony framework.
- Design and manage our MariaDB databases, including writing and optimizing complex queries.
- Build and support our applications, including database integration, interfaces, and new features.
- Work with our DevOps team to deploy and manage applications using AWS, ECS, and EKS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects align with business goals.
- Actively participate in code reviews to maintain our high standards of quality.
- Assist in the testing and deployment of new products and features.
Your Profile:
- Proven experience as a Software Developer, with a strong preference for 3-5 years in the field.
- Solid, hands-on experience with object-oriented PHP, particularly with the Symfony framework.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, specifically MariaDB or MySQL.
- Demonstrated experience with AWS, including hands-on work with ECS and/or EKS (Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with caching services such as Valkey or Redis.
- Experience with front-end technologies like React/TypeScript is a strong asset.
- A solid grasp of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Docker, pipelines).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be currently located in and legally eligible to work in Canada.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
