Horizon Recruitment is recruiting for a Metallurgical Engineering Manager to lead metallurgical performance and test work programs across their operating mine sites. This role ensures that processing operations are optimized for recovery and supports the technical integration of geological and engineering inputs with metallurgical strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee metallurgical performance across both mine sites
  • Develop and manage metallurgical testwork programs
  • Analyze plant recovery and recommend process optimizations
  • Ensure sufficient metallurgical data is available for mine planning and resource modelling
  • Provide technical support on reagents, recovery curves, and sampling protocols
  • Liaise with site-based processing teams to align performance with corporate standards
  • Support due diligence and future development planning as needed
Requirements
  • Degree in Metallurgical, Chemical, or Process Engineering
  • 10+ years experience in metallurgical roles
  • Familiarity with flotation processing and polymetallic circuits
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Remuneration

Competitive salary with benefits. Target compensation between $120,000 and $140,000 depending on experience.
