Position Summary

You will represent medical science for vaccines across Ontario, focusing on engaging cardiologists, endocrinologists, and nephrologists to advance vaccination awareness and uptake. You will build trusted, peer‑to‑peer scientific relationships with healthcare professionals and external experts, gather clinical insights, and share them with cross‑functional teams to shape medical strategy and patient care. This role offers strong career growth and a meaningful impact on public health, helping GSK unite science, technology, and talent to get ahead of disease together.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain peer‑to‑peer scientific relationships with healthcare professionals, external experts, and professional bodies in Ontario, emphasizing cardiology, endocrinology, and nephrology specialties.
  • Deliver balanced, non‑promotional scientific information in one‑to‑one and group settings, and respond to unsolicited scientific enquiries.
  • Collect and document medical voice of customer and insights to inform medical, clinical, and development strategies.
  • Support local scientific programs and congress activities, including expert engagement planning and post‑congress knowledge sharing.
  • Provide scientific training and support to internal colleagues using approved materials.
  • Support clinical development and evidence generation activities, including identifying potential clinical sites and assisting investigator‑initiated study efforts.
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum MSc degree in a relevant life science, healthcare, or clinical field (advanced or terminal degree such as MD, PharmD, or PhD strongly preferred).
  • Minimum two years’ experience in a medical affairs or Medical Science Liaison role, field‑based experience preferred.
  • Strong ability to interpret and communicate scientific data clearly to clinical audiences.
  • Demonstrated skills in building professional relationships with healthcare providers.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly across the territory (up to 70 %).
  • Right to work in Canada and residence within the Ontario territory.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, MSc, or PhD) in a relevant field.
  • Experience in vaccines, immunology, public health, cardiometabolic, or related therapeutic areas.
  • Familiarity with the Canadian healthcare system and reimbursement landscape.
  • Proven experience supporting scientific programs at congresses and meetings.
  • Experience contributing to real‑world evidence or investigator‑initiated studies.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills for diverse clinical audiences.
Working Arrangement

This field‑based role covers Ontario. The position is primarily remote with regular travel across the territory, meeting colleagues and external experts face‑to‑face and virtually as needed.

Salary
