Founded in 1978, Sea Mar is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to providing comprehensive health, human, housing, educational, and cultural services to diverse communities, with a focus on Latinos in Washington State. Hourly Rate: $24.09

Overview

We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for our clinic in Mt. Vernon, WA. Ideal candidates will have excellent customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask. Medical Assistants are key members of the care team, responsible for patient flow and quality patient care in a safe and timely manner. Bilingual in Spanish / English is required.

Responsibilities
  • Follow protocols in rooming and discharging patients
  • Complete provider referrals for each patient
  • Administer injections and oral medications as ordered by physicians; perform venipuncture
  • Assist providers with charting and ensure proper communication and documentation for comprehensive patient care
  • Other duties may be assigned as necessary
Education and Requirements
  • Must have a Washington State MA-Certificate or an MA-Interim License, and pass the exam within 90 days of hire
  • Obtain and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification within 90 days of hire
  • EPIC experience is preferred but not required
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is required
