Job Description

As a Planning Manager at Spark, you will lead a team of media professionals in developing ideas and activations that foster human connections. Your role involves guiding the team to create innovative, targeted communication solutions across various media to meet or surpass client goals and drive business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through quality deliverables and satisfaction.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of current and past client business activities.
  • Proactively listen to clients and anticipate their needs to foster business growth and make Zenith indispensable.
  • Communicate client objectives clearly to internal teams and develop plans to achieve them.
  • Collaborate with Directors to develop and promote Zenith and Publicis Media solutions.
  • Seek continuous improvements in processes and products.
  • Coordinate with partner agencies and global teams to ensure efficient workflows.
  • Ensure staff utilization and effectiveness to meet client needs.
  • Lead the training and development of new team members.
  • Manage workflow and team responsibilities to ensure timely project completion.
  • Work with the Group Director to evaluate and support team members’ professional growth.
  • Regularly communicate performance goals, achievements, and areas for improvement to staff.
  • Handle performance issues professionally and proactively.
  • Assist the Director with revenue forecasting.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and innovation through behaviors and deliverables.
  • Lead by example in work ethic, team building, attitude, and collaboration.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
  • At least 6 years of progressive experience in media planning, buying, and management.
  • Proven business acumen and success in media services.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Leadership and supervision capabilities.
