Key responsibilities

You are in charge of the design, production and testing of mechatronic

systems.

You report to the head of the Mechatronics Division.

Duties
  • Sizing and choice of various mechatronic components (actuators, sensors, controllers,
  • etc.) – production of specifications;
  • Definition, optimization and implementation of control loops;
  • Production of operator interface and/or control system software;
  • Definition of test procedures, development and performance tests as well as the performance and reporting of these tests;
  • Production of part of the machine documentation.
  • Contact with suppliers, subcontractors and potential partners – including follow‑up throughout the project;
  • Frequent interactions with the draftsmen assigned to the project as well as with the FEM calculation engineers and automation engineers;
Must have
  • You are a mechatronics or electrician or electromechanics engineer;
  • You have a good knowledge of electrical engineering and regulation. A good
  • knowledge of mechanical design is a definite asset (multidisciplinary competence);
  • You are fluent in English
  • You are rigorous and have a desire for continuous improvement;
  • You are creative, you know how to take initiative and have an ability to work in a team and communicate well;
  • You are pragmatic, concerned about respecting technical and planning commitments;
  • You are flexible and have strong adaptability and learning skills;
Nice to have
  • French knowledge
  • You have knowledge in one or more of the following areas :
    • MatLab/Simulink or Python, CATIA V5
    • LabView, Access, PLC B&R and SIEMENS programming;
