In the role of Mechanical Section Manager, you'll be responsible for:

  • Managing operations of the production section, including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control, and marketing support
  • Functioning as Project Manager and overseeing project production alongside management responsibilities
  • Handling administrative responsibilities for section staff and technical services, and coordinating with other sections
  • Participating in marketing planning, proposals, and interviews
  • Engaging directly with industrial and public clients on marketing, project production, and related issues
  • Ensuring all work is planned, organized, controlled, and evaluated through a proactive project management system
  • Implementing, monitoring, and supporting company policies
  • Selecting, training, developing, and managing technical personnel
  • Managing and developing multidisciplinary teams
  • Collaborating with National Directors and marketing staff on local and national marketing and production efforts
  • Performing other duties as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 10 years of experience
  • Professional registration, license, or certification as required based on role
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments
  • Good leadership and organizational skills
  • Commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture
