We are seeking a highly skilled HANDS ON Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience and be responsible for designing, analyzing, and improving mechanical systems and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as AutoCad and SolidWorks. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting‑edge projects involving system design, manufacturing processes, and advanced simulation tools. The Mechanical Engineer will collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to develop solutions that meet technical specifications and project deadlines, utilizing a broad range of skills including CAD drafting, root cause analysis, and system modeling.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed mechanical designs using CAD software such as SolidWorks and Creo, including schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Perform system design and analysis utilizing FEA (Finite Element Analysis), CFD, and other simulation tools like MATLAB, Simulink, and LabVIEW.
- Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.
- Manage project scheduling to ensure timely completion of engineering tasks and deliverables.
- Design and optimize manufacturing processes, including CNC machining and 3D printing techniques.
- Apply GD&T principles to ensure precision in mechanical components and assemblies.
- Develop control systems involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), Arduino, or similar platforms for automation projects.
- Ensure all designs comply with ASME standards and industry best practices for safety and quality.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on system design, prototyping, testing, and validation activities.
- Prepare technical documentation, including schematics, technical reports, and drafting specifications.
Qualifications
- Professional Engineering or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience with mechanical design software such as SolidWorks, Creo, or equivalent CAD tools.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, GD&T standards, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with simulation software including MATLAB, Simulink, FEA (e.g., ANSYS), or LabVIEW.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), Arduino platforms, CNC machining, and system integration.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as ASME codes & standards applicable to mechanical systems.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis using systematic problem‑solving techniques.
- Excellent project management skills with experience in project scheduling and coordination.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately.

- Pay: $110,000.00–$130,000.00 per year
