Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Location: REMOTE, California

What's the Job?

• Lead the adoption of Ansys Discovery‑based workflows for geometry creation, meshing, and solver preparation.
• Develop automated, parameterized scripts to streamline mechanical development processes.
• Build and validate parametric geometries using sketches, constraints, and Boolean operations in Ansys Discovery.
• Translate GUI operations into pyDiscovery scripts, ensuring full parameterization with variables and named selections.
• Share best practices, step‑by‑step guides, and recorded demos to facilitate knowledge transfer across teams.

What's Needed?

• Strong expertise in Ansys Discovery, Prime Mesher, and scripting with pyDiscovery, pyPrime, and pyMAPDL.
• Proficiency in Python for automation, parameterization, and error handling.
• Solid understanding of FEA principles, mesh quality metrics, and solver preparation.
• Experience in workflow migration or process enablement is preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical training and collaboration.
