A leading shipbuilding company in Dartmouth is seeking a Materials Management Coordinator. This full-time role involves managing logistics and inventory, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining records. The ideal candidate has a university degree, 2-5 years of experience, and proficiency in MS Office. Strong communication and detail-oriented skills are essential, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The Materials Management Coordinator is integral to the success of daily operations relating to the movement and management of shipbuilding material. The Materials Management Coordinator will work closely with Warehouse Operations, Planning and Procurement and other internal departments. The Materials Management Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the effective and timely execution of logistic activities. This function shall strive to support an uninterrupted flow of material required by the project.
Due to the nature of work Irving Shipbuilding does, all successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Please note this position requires a full-time, in-office presence.
